Our journey began through two very different industries that presented many of the same challenges.
It started with a custom automotive store in Tampa
For years, our family operated a brick-and-mortar custom automotive retail store in Tampa, Florida. As the business grew to more than $100,000 per month in revenue, the demands grew with it. The store carried significant overhead, required a steady flow of new customers, and depended on a small team handling multiple responsibilities.
To operate at that level, we needed to respond quickly, follow up consistently, organize customer conversations, and make sure valuable opportunities did not get lost. Hiring additional salespeople was not always financially realistic, so we began developing systems that allowed us to manage more leads, improve communication, and support continued growth without constantly adding payroll.
The same problems, in the beauty industry
At the same time, our family was also experiencing the realities of operating hair and lash businesses in Wesley Chapel, Florida. In the beauty industry, most of the workday is spent directly serving clients. When an owner-operator is in the middle of an appointment, they cannot stop to answer every phone call, respond to messages, check emails, follow up with new leads, or manage advertising.
Although the industries were different, the problems were remarkably similar.
We needed more customers, but we did not always have the time or resources to respond immediately. Important conversations were spread across phone calls, text messages, emails, social media, and website inquiries. Leads required consistent follow-up, marketing needed attention, and administrative work often carried over into the evening.
When the business day ended, family life began. Like many business owners, we understood how difficult it was to serve customers all day and then spend the evening answering emails, creating advertisements, following up with leads, and trying to catch up on everything that had been missed.
Out of necessity, we began building better systems.
Building the systems we needed
Over the years, we refined ways to capture leads, respond faster, organize customer conversations, automate follow-up, manage opportunities, request reviews, and reduce repetitive work. These systems helped our businesses remain connected with potential customers, protect valuable opportunities, and accomplish more without immediately adding another full-time employee.
What began as a solution for our own businesses eventually became something we knew could help other owners.
We realized that service-based businesses everywhere face the same pressures we experienced: limited time, missed calls, inconsistent follow-up, scattered messages, rising operating costs, and the challenge of growing without continuously increasing payroll.
That realization led us to create Spartacus Systems.
Spartacus Systems today
Today, we run Spartacus Systems together as a family. We combine our experience in automotive retail, the beauty industry, customer service, marketing, sales, technology, and day-to-day business operations to create practical solutions for owner-operators and lean teams.
Our websites, AI employees, CRM tools, and automated systems are not based solely on theory. They were shaped by years of real business experience and refined out of necessity.
Our goal is to help service-based businesses capture more opportunities, follow up more consistently, operate more professionally, and grow without requiring the owner to personally manage every call, message, and task.
Because business owners should be able to grow their companies, serve their customers, and still have time to be present with their families.
